Still struggling here. I got myself out the door much easier this time, but the run itself was difficult. Felt like I was pushing but my time was in the end disappointing, along with the leg pain! Is anyone out there playing the violin for me or what?
Hopefully I am getting back on track though...second time I ran this week.

*Playing the violin for you* Seriously though, my thinking is that you are just re-aggravating your injury every time you run. Maybe it hasn't fully healed (not what you want to hear right?). Can you bike for a few weeks instead of run? My other thought is to re-consider getting orthotics designed specifically for you...they really can make a difference!
I hope you are on the mend soon...I know how frustrating it is getting injured!

Thanks for the violin playing! I am not convinced that I am hurting my shins further because they feel pretty good when I am running. I think my heart is just not in it...which is unfortunate!
I am much happier run 2-3 miles than the daunting task of having to run 13. More complaining...sorry!
